Fresco Film, a production services company integrated into THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO since July, has announced the opening of a new office at Ciudad de la Luz. The official inauguration, held this week, marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth and its commitment to this iconic facility, which is currently undergoing renovation and reactivation.
As the first production services company to return to Ciudad de la Luz in this new phase, Fresco Film reinforces its dedication to the film industry and its pursuit of excellence in every project. The company aims to meet all audiovisual production needs, from pre-production to post-production, providing access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and services.
The reopening of Ciudad de la Luz marks the beginning of a new era, positioning it as one of Europe’s leading venues for major international productions. The complex offers cutting-edge facilities, including production support spaces, workshops, and warehouses, two large outdoor filming areas, and three water tanks (two indoor and one outdoor) for surface and underwater shoots—unique in Spain. Additionally, the site features extensive set construction areas, making it an ideal location for large-scale filming. The studios were designed by Gary Bastien following the highest standards of major American studios, allowing for simultaneous indoor, outdoor, and aquatic shooting, thus optimizing time and resources for productions.
With this opening, Fresco Film strengthens its position as a leader in film and television production, committed to delivering the highest quality and efficiency at every stage of the process.
